Have to say that you have a top class foreman there, Peter. Is he for hire after his current project?

David, only if I take a holiday. Otherwise no. Whithout him my models will look like s&*t.

Wow, this seperates the model builders from kit assemblers like me!

Michael, it only appears that way. We are all artisans in our own way, we love creating what we imagine. The only seperation is what we perceive to have 'not yet attained'. This forum is full of 'not yet attained' levels of creativity. I am constantly amazed at the models being shown on the HEADLINES. I look at these models and always think 'wow'. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your 'wow'. It's always nice to get a pat on the back, and I thank you for that, my fellow artisan.

Bridging the four parts together with a pair of common girders.

Started to add supporting cantilever struts. The were also tapered and knotched.

POWs worked day and night. All they got was one scoop of rice and water per day.

Peter, you are sorely stretching my resources in superlatives. Literally, a monumental piece of work my friend.

That was a humdinger superlative my friend. Thanks

Glued two skewers together, then tapered them.

Adding cross members, and 12 supporting cantilever struts. Later, another 12 will be added.

    So far.

I love this build, Peter. It’s thought provoking modeling and journaling of the highest order. The rat-traps put me in mind of Rob’s ‘No Comment’ where the image stimulates a line of thought and depth of empathy independent of any narrative.

Thanks David. I will add some images, now and again,of what was really going on. It helps me to keep on track as to why I am building this model _ to do the best I can in its representation.

Rick, glad to know that you are enjoying the work in progress of this build.
