    Looking good, Brian! @brithebuilder
Shake the table and all those parts fall together...👌

@fiveten, @johnb, @gwskat - Thanks gentlemen! And look at that Gary, shaking the table really did work! 😉

The wing seams did not come out perfect, minor gap/offset that's not very noticeable. Once the decals and weathering are complete, I doubt anyone will be able to see any of the minor issues.

@gwskat - Thanks Gary, the masking on the glass was a challenge. Some Tamiya tape and a sharp blade... I felt like I was going to slip and gouge the glass the whole time.

I've finished the decals on the 1A and realized I missed the seatbelts in the 1D, so while the clear coat dries I installed the 1D pilot's seatbelts. Safety first!
I also realized I had placed the belts incorrectly in the 1A. I had them attached to the wall behind the pilot and without a pilot in there it was pretty noticeable.

It looks like the pilot could crank the engine and takeoff, Brian (@brithebuilder). Nice job painting the pilot and getting him belted in. Did you print the figure?

@gblair - Thanks George, the pilot figure is the one that came with the kit.

@fiveten, @johnb - Thank you both. I do like the added realism from the seatbelts going over his shoulders.

And, back to the 1A, decals finished and a nice coat of Tamiya clear gloss (TS-13) - even on the glass. I had to try it at some point, so... now we know that Tamiya's isn't too aggressive to be used on clear parts.

I believe the 1A is also finished. Weathered but not beaten... I think the glossy fuel stains coming out of the main fuel area look quite nice. I probably beat up the wing surface where the pilot is standing a bit too much, but it still looks pretty cool.

Alrighty, just a pair of simple dioramas to display the 2 together and they will be truly complete. The 1D will have a carrier deck (from Coastal Kits) and the 1A will have a sandy base with a couple palm trees that I 3D printed.

    Thanks for following along!
