Thanks John and Spiros, always like the 3 tone scheme that was not used for long as the naval aviation units transitioned to the overall Glossy Dark Sea Blue.
Once the flat coat is applied. Masks removed. Now to work on the final details. First with the landing gear,
The struts, bay and wheels are glossy white. (Tamiya) Gunze Tire Black for the tires.

1. Tamiya Gloss White
2. Molotow Chrome
3. Gunze Tire Black
The scissors is attached to the strut. Molotow chrome pen is used for the oleo.
The strut fits into the forward portion of the wheel bay. The retraction arm is attached to the strut. The fit is excellent here with a solid contact point into the wheel bay.
At this point I airbrush some Tamiya Smoke for the Exhaust trail and gun shell ejection ports.
Once that is done, now to attach the gear bay doors. First the main doors that are on the struts.
Then the wheels.
The tail hook is next up to install.
Finally the Prop already decaled and ready to install.
The prop is pushed into the poly cap with in the crank case. And with that she is done.
