Great choice Allan (@kalamazoo)! Now I can wait a bit before making my 1/48 helo (HMR-161 HR-16) and snatch all the tips and tricks from your build – looking forward to be following along.

Great choice, Allan (@kalamazoo). This is one of my most favorite helos, along with the UH-1. Plus there are dozens of cool paints schemes. Looking forward to the rest of the build.

  • Robert Royes said 6 months ago:

    Nice, Allen!

  • Spiros Pendedekas said 6 months ago:

Details! Details! And looking great indeed, Allan @kalamazoo!

  • Erik Gjørup said 6 months ago:

A little bit here, a little bit there – and it ends up as yet another great @kalamazoo build. The engine looks a bit simplified 🙂
Do you cast the lead or is it just shaped from a block? – I have been thinking of making a “productionline” of lead-nose interiors for the Twin Otter as the type is one I plan to build a few more of one day.

  • Allan J Withers said 6 months ago:

Thanks George, I was going to do it as the Airfix scheme, ———–
    Thanks Robert, ————
    Thanks Spiros, ————
Thanks Erik, I do cast my lead, see pic’s, but this is just from block !!!
