Hi Allan @kalamazoo! Your HRS-1 looks to be converging at its shape!
You've done a wonderful interior and, from what I can presume, a lot will be visible.
Those HRS-1s are so cool looking machines!
I just love the cabin and cockpit arrangement!
Next pics will grant us the complete HRS-1 shape.
    Keep up the good work!

Thanks Spiros, I do like the high cockpit arrangement as with the Wessex, I will have the cabin door at least partly open !

Here is yet another Allan J Whithers trademark. And that’s a crystal clear canopy. I don’t know how you manage to do it, but it seems that every one of your builds has perfect glass. This one is no exception.

I routinely get a little smudge here or there but you have this down to a science !

Thanks for the updates. It’s really looking great.

Looking great, Allan (@kalamazoo). Can't wait for the paint. There are a bunch of paint schemes for this helo, and they are all cool. When I was in Air Force pilot training in 1976, we used to go to the boneyard at Davis Monthan AFB on the weekends, and they had row on row of this helo sitting there.

Found some photos, Allan (@kalamazoo). These are from Davis Monthan AFB, which is the boneyard for military planes and helos. The photos are from 1976 (I'm suddenly feeling old.) Most of them are UH-34s, which are a little newer than your model, which I think is basically an H-19. Cheers

I had the paint ready to do the frames when I noticed they weren't right, I had thought of removing the windscreen wiper before, it's gone now to make room for the other frames, canopy back on, paint next.
