Hi, Paul (@yellow10). Sorry to hear about your family's loss. Funerals are never easy. In regard to this kit, you are a better man than I am. I won't even attempt a model with more than one wing. I did do a Dr.1 a few months back, but that doesn't count because it didn't have any flying wires to add :o).

    Thanks George.

I’ve seen your triplane. It’s beautiful. This is of course a lot smaller but minimal rigging!

First off, Happy Easter to you and your family. On a second and sadder note, please accept our condolences for Kate's aunt. At least she can take comfort in knowing that her aunt is no longer suffering and is now in a much better place.

This looks like a great kit ! I am looking forward to seeing what you have to say about it and how it builds / fits. I have been thinking about getting one of these and also their new tool Me-163 Komet also in 1/48. I have several of the Accurate Miniatures / Italeri Hs-123 kits in the stash, and I am fairly certain they were originally made by Esci... so they may be a bit harder to make than one of these.

I will be following along with this one... Galland is one of my favorite LW pilots too. It would be cool to build a model of each major type of aircraft he flew.

    Take care.
