    Completed the Hurricane.
Thanks for those following along and all the comments.

In keeping with this being a simultaneous build I added pics with it's stable-build-mate.
Planning to take proper photos later this weekend, followed with posting to headlines during the week. 🤞

Moving on to other builds but I'm planning an addition to this fine GB in the future.

    As always...Keep it Fun!

Dear Gary @gwskat, both planes are really beautiful! Do you use the yellow ochre for the parts with dark earth? Oil colors are really fun and add a lot of depth. Thanks again for participating!

    Thank you much, Felix.

I used Yellow Ochre for the Green and Raw Sienna for the brown. This, to me, gives a nice highlighted/faded appearance but still within the color range of the base colors.
Each was thinned with mineral spirits as a wash and applied with a brush. After wicking off the excess on a towel, I found dabbing the surface with the side of the brush gave a nice patchy look. After this wash dried for a few minutes, I lightly wiped it down with a dry soft brush to blend. I repeated the entire process a few times until I was satisfied...
One rule I learned years ago that I apply to the wash/blending/weathering process...and to most areas that require an artsy feel...
"when you think it needs a little more...DONT DO IT!...it will be too much.

Felix, thank you, again, for allowing me to add these builds to your Phoney War time period. I enjoyed these builds and seeing all the others builds. Great choices all around.

Both of your builds look great, gary (@gwskat). Your are right about weathering. Sometimes it is very tempting to go too far. Been there, done that myself. It has been a pleasure watching a master at work. Well done.

This puts the wraps on both builds, Gary (@gwskat). Both came out great.
