Great work, John (@johnb). It is amazing how things slow to a crawl when you start detail painting and working with the small bits.
Excellent yellow, my friend @johnb!
@stephen-w-towle, thank you, Stephen. Let's hope this therapy helps to move in the right direction.
@gblair, thanks a lot, George. The more details the longer it takes.
@fiveten, thank you, Spiros.
John @johnb, i always have to spray yellow in multiple layers. Not an easy color. The spinner looks impeccable!
@fxrob, thanks a lot, Felix. I lost count of how many layers I applied on that spinner.
When i was masking off the yellow tips on my Hurricane propeller, i thought of you 🙂 @johnb
Wings are attached. Once the glue has dried sufficiently, I will check if some putty is required to have a smooth joint with the fuselage.
Looking good John (@johnb) another milestone past. The cowling and the engine opening look smart. As does the masking on canopy.
I always marvel at the engineering of this plane, John (@johnb). It looks like the fuselage is attached to the wing using the canopy alone. I know that's not true, but it truly looks like the plane is held together with string and sealing wax. An exciting milestone to be sure.
Looking excellent, my friend @johnb!
@stephen-w-towle, thank you, Stephen. @gblair, thanks a lot, George. The way this construction looks does give you the idea that those wings will break easily. @fiveten, thank you, Spiros.
Started with pre-shading
Preshading is always an exciting point to me, John @johnb. That's when things get real. Really looking forward to seeing the camouflage applied!
Excellent preshading and ditto overall looks so far, my friend @johnb!
@fxrob, @fiveten, thanks a lot.
