Seems like a good idea, @anthonyricco, I’ve built a number of Le Mans cars over the years, most of which I’ve posted here, but I can’t decide what to build this year. If there was a decent Jaguar 1/24 C or D type kit available that would be my first choice, unfortunately I don’t know of any. The ACO have clamped down on kit manufacturers using the name “Le Mans” so any new kits are unlikely. My favourite at the moment is an Italeri 1/24 Lancia LC2 Group 5 kit, a Lancia with a Ferrari engine, what could possibly go wrong?

@bikequeen, the trick is, spray the inside first. Then once you have clear coated tape all over the inside over the window gaps so none of the exterior colour gets inside, fairly foolproof.

Work on the engine going well, painted up and washed, then started with some wiring and plumbing,. finally got it in place, now to add all the bigger wires and pipes. Having fun with this, then going to make it full of oil, these cars didn't always make it at Le Mans.

Wires and plumbing added, first time doing this but it was a lot of fun, great reference photos helped a ton, do I get my auto electrician apprenticeship now?
