Well, the group invitation came almost too late. Already closing to finish line. But gonna post the full build thread so far.

engine and trasmission are not that detailed but you won´t see much of it afterwards
don´t know yet which colour to use for the rims, painted silver/aluminium for now
looking at pics and videos of 1966 they look darker and sometimes have a golden touch

the kit decals are c**p, they tend to tear apart, no good quality but my dad somehow managed to apply the instrument decals by securing them with Microscale Liquid Decal Film gonna buy aftermarket decals for the exterior

used a black marker for the window/glass frames the windscreen has to be inserted from the inside, sadly it´s not a good fit the other windows gonna be inserted from the outside
started with the aftermarket decals which came from

although they are sealed with clear coat, still the one or other little piece brakes off, have to do some more touch-ups

Fantastic GT40, Reinhard @grimreaper Excellent progress done, thanks for sharing. Those Fords were, and still are, very impressive cars.
