Great looking shock absorbers, Spiros @fiveten
Thanks my friend @johnb!
Nice shocks, Spiros @fiveten, the metal springs look very realistic.
Thank you my friend @chinesegeorge!
More assembly and some initial excess plastic shave off, plus some liquefied styrene, in order, prior to initial sanding (of which a significant amount will be needed...)...
Progressing nicely, Spiros @fiveten Although this kit needs a bit more attention than the Katana, the result will be amazing.
Keep up the good work, Spiros @fiveten, have you decided which colour this beauty will finally have?
You know who else builds really great motorcycle models? Jay Leno. He used to come in Burbank House of Hobbies on break in the afternoon before taping the Tonight Show (NBC studios was a mile away) and yak models with the guys in the store. He once invited some of us to come out to Burbank Airport and get a tour of The Garage. Talk about gear-head heaven!
This old kit is looking good @fiveten. Making old kits look their best is the Fiveten Specialty.
Thanks my friend @johnb! Yes, more work indeed!
Thanks my friend @chinesegeorge! I have a spray can of Humbrol light blue metallic, a really attractive shade that I flirt with 🙂
Just checked Jay Leno on the Net: oh, my! What a man, his skills are heavenly! Glad you brought him to my attention. Thanks for liking my progress, my friend @tcinla!
This requires a bit more attention, Spiros @fiveten
Yes it does, my friend @johnb! Still the situation is tad chaotic with a number of pieces/subassemblies needing attention...
Frame assembly in progress...
