My next motorcycle project to our steadily growing and absolutely wonderful Motorcycles GB will be the Heller 1/8 LAVERDA SF 750...

Here is a look at the box contents... The plastic is the same bad stuff as my previous Heller Honda 750: ultra brittle and seemingly warped. A frame piece already splitted in two just by holding the bag 😵

Here is a peek at the instructions...

The higher number of parts (340) promises a complex build, to say the least 😁😁

I think I will not resist painting her orange 🤗🤗

340 parts, brittle, warped, for sure this one is challenge, but I'm sure you will turn it into an amazing bike.

I fear that would be my immediate reaction, too, Spiros @fiveten. Still, if you tackle it section by section I’m sure it will be yet another successful Heller build.

Started the Laverda tonight, first assembled the wheels...

..and the fork bottoms. I then decided to join the frame halves, where the warping was a real sorry saga. Here are the frame halves joined at the neck... ...the rear cross half tubes should meet and be parallel, but no...

With the ultra hard and brittle plastic discouraging me even further, I took a deep breath and clamped the neck, while I used electrical wire at the rear, twisting it until the two tubes met and then applied water thin glue, followed by a coat of liquefied styrene at the invisible side of the tubes, in order to add some much needed extra strength to the thin and brittle joined tube that essentially bears all stress imposed by the force closed frame halves...

Let's hope it will hold...

I had no idea Heller made motorcycle models, Spiros (@fiveten), especially in the larger scales. Looking forward to seeing your magic sprinkled on this kit. I had similar problems with the frame, but it eventually all worked out.
