Detail painting looks great, John (@johnb). I have been using the tip of a toothpick for painting lately. It is amazing how well they work. Nice job on the reverse decals.
Looks fantastic, my friend @johnb! Great technique with the toothpick tip!
The toothpick tip works very well, @johnb.
@gblair, @fiveten, @chinesegeorge, thank a lot all. They always do come in handy. A simple but practicle tool.
Painted all the interior sides of the panels Vallejo black.
The steering damper is a nice detail, @johnb.
Interior painting looks super, my friend @johnb, as does the steering damper!
@chinesegeorge, @fiveten, thanks a lot, gentlemen. Time to move on to the larger parts.
Looking amazing @johnb - the small detail painting really brings out so much of the kit. Excellent work
@anthonyricco, thank you, Anthony. Painting instructions of Tamiya do help as well to get that done.
After receiving a great tip from Richard @richardmcstay48gmail-com, I made a start to add a little wash to the exhaust tips. First round is done but I think I will add some more to create a slightly darker effect.
Already looking very nice, my friend @johnb!
@fiveten, thank you, Spiros
Started to paint the panels. This is from a rattle can and I think I need to keep more distance while spraying, the layer was too thick in no time causing some drops here and there. Sanding required to smoothen that and repaint.
Indeed, rattle cans spray differently than our airbrushes, my friend @johnb. Surely everything will be excellent upon repeating painting.
