    I hope I'm not late for this trip.
    I recived parcel from UK. My first jet kit. I hope You will like it. Still waiting for HAF decals. I still need to finish the Wellington Mark XIV. I was planning my (also first) Hurricane model, but we'll decide when we have time.

    Good choice Bernard. The Tamiya classic is good intro into jets and is a straight forward build.Having a figure is in keeping with your signature builds. A must.

    Excellent choice, Bernard and great looking additions to the build.
    I know you’ll make this kit ‘shine’, especially if you finish it in NMF.

    Hi, Bernard (@lis). Welcome to the group. I am really looking forward to you building this jet, and then applying your skills to a diorama. It looks like you have all of the cool extras for the kit.

    Is interior green required for interior components on early jets?

    Yes, the yellow-green interior color, @lis , at least that’s what photos show that I’ve seen and what Tamiya says to use in my instruction sheet.

    Hi, Bernard (@lis). I did some research on the interior colors. Apparently they were interior green until the mid-1950s (1954, I think). So planes made after that had a gray interior. One of the sites had a rule of them that usually works: If the exterior is natural metal, then the interior is probably green. If the exterior is camo, then the interior is probably gray. Photos are your best guide.

    @gblair Gray color should be NG? Or lighter?

    Hi, Bernard (@lis). Perhaps a little lighter than neutral gray. Tamiya gray primer is about the right color.

    Hi, Bernard (@lis). I would try Gull Gray rather than Dark Gull Gray.

    @kalamazoo looks pritty good!
    @gblair one more question about armanent of F-84. Fid the hardpoints only allow for carrying two additional tanks or two 1000 lb bombs under the fuselage?
