Great work with engines. How about fit?

Thanks my friend @lis! Fit is not Tamiya for sure, requiring some attention at areas, or some more at others. I would generally say that fit is ok. The model is not suitable for the novice modeler, but the average modeler will have no problem, other than some extra cleanup and test fit.

    Engines on...

Took some test fit, but all was aligned in the end. Some filling and sanding will be required at the top intakes area..

Very good work indeed, Spiros @fiveten
With your modelling skills even this challencing kit will end up beautifully.

Liquefied styrene at some more areas, like the top air inlet extensions and normal putty allover...

The exhausts fairings were drilled out for extra realism... Thanks for stopping by!

The exhausts do look much better this way, Spiros @fiveten
This amount of putty could easily be part of the camouflage scheme.

@fiveten have a hand and the ability to putty. A large amount of puttying often discourages me.

    More putty than normal, indeed!

Yes, its putty but, then again this kit is in 1/72nd. This kit is a gold mine of potential. The putty will get sanded off and blended in no time. That's what motivates me on projects. Lookin good Spiros (@fiveten).

Prep can always be a drag or doing your home work but, the dividends are worth it.

Those drilled out exhausts look way better than what the kit offers, @fiveten. With all that putty you can rename the plane “The Green Glob-Lin”.
