aahhhh - green stuff and sanding. Pure relaxation. Even can be done when having quality-time with the family 🙂

    Thanks @airbum!
It will take magician hands to smoothsand those spots!

To help keep the virus from spreading, please be sure to maintain social distancing while you are sanding ! Your additional scratch work has already turned this kit into a masterpiece. I can only imagine how nice it will look once you get some paint on the outer surfaces.

I have never seen the E-13 build that Doug had posted a link to. Very nice work there too.

    Thanks Louis @lgardner!

Indeed Doug's @eydugstr posted links sported very nice builds. Also, the first link he posted, with the conversions, was extremely helpful for my build (thanks again, Doug).

Coming up with a sanding update hopefully tonight (planned to have done it yesterday, but, tyring to put my son to sleep, I fell asleep too...o tempora, o mores!)

    All the best, my friends!

    Keep up the good work!

Glad it helped, Spiros! Sorry I wasn't a little quicker and get that posted before. Regardless, that's going to be a good looking bird.

Internediate stage of puttying and sanding

My finger-sandpaper system's angles of attack was an event to remember...

I still cannot understand how I managed to sand some of those spots...

    New Filling/Sanding session to follow!

I don't know how you managed to sand some of these places either, but you sure did a fine job of it ! I see some paint work in your very near future my friend.

And, moreover, @mvtb, most of the Octopus sanding was done in blind (there was no chance to sneaklook in there during sanding...)...so eyes closed for inspiration! is
    Loved them X-Men classification!
My Jake has just finished her sanding session!
Tomorrow will be masking time and...maybe some paint?
    All the best!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh the painting. That is one of my favorite times when building a model. I'll bet you and your X-Men Octopus fingers are happy the sanding is done. That is one of my least favorite parts about building a model. looking forward to seeing you work your magic with the painting.

Are you painting yours Green over Gray or will yours be overall gray ?

    Thanks Louis @lgardner!
Yes, sanding is not the best part of model building, especially when it takes challenging endless loops...
Will do a green over grey machine that I seem to have reasonably documented.
    All the best, my friend!
