Fine Mold's 1/48 C5M2 Babs as she looks at this point. Good fits so far. Note to those who would do this one...do not spend time on the interior, as you will not see squat in there, especially when the glasshouse canopy goes on. Going to be fun masking that.

The Shiden had gone along pretty far, before progress screeched to a halt do to a missing wingtip light. I was trying to over-detail again, digging out the tip area for a light bulb, when the cover went flying to parts unknown. Starting over, filling in the wingtip. Damn, did I do that Engine? Looking forward to moving this one on.

@billkoppos you may still save the light - check out the Stinson Reliant build over at "Work-in-progress-" - link here, scroll down a bit https://imodeler.com/groups/work-in-progress-aircraft/forum/topic/building-the-148-amt-stinson-sr-9-reliant/

I used the same method in many of my 109 builds, and used clear sprue instead - works like a charm once you get the hang of it!

That engine must go to the Fine Arts Museum, Bill! What a job!
