After a long pause I picked up the scalpel again and restarted my modelling hobby.
All I want is a fast but nice project with an interesting subject. Well, the ClearProp kit is really nice and detailed but it's not an easy build. The fit is good mostly and the kit is accurate but the PE and resin parts make it to a complicated subject. The cockpit area is very nice, lots of fine details, but nothing will be seen because the pilot sits in a mouse hole sized opening. But who cares, thats a modellers life!
I really like the engine, but its very-very tricky. The instructions are unclear, there are parts that not clearly mentioned in the manual. Luckily the manufacturers website contains 3d animations for the kit, these are very helpful. After you finished the engine, it wont fit in the engine cover. So, here I am, the fight continues.
Despite the difficulties I really like this kit, an interesting subject.
