    More work done,
Pic .1. Underside of fuselage required some serious filling. The bottom wing only had 2 dimples to secure it to the fuselage, so I drilled a .5mm hole thru it and also each wing and inserted a piece of .5mm brass rod thru all to secure them.
Pic .2. Undercarriage assembled and painted. Pic 3. Undercarriage bungee cord fitted ( sewing cotton )
Pic .4. Underside of aircraft painted.

Continuing on, painted the camo scheme as on Albert Ball's aircraft, didn't have any dark brown in acrylic so used some old Humbrol enamel, it should look better with some flat clear over it , after the decals.
The decals went on quite easily, no tail fin decals so will have to paint that later.

Some very nice preperation, Ian @firelockg
Amazing to see that those turnbuckles can move around free at this scale.

John and Spiros, the turnbuckles have the copper wire twisted thru an eye so that they swivel, easy to line up. See photo.

The Rigging is complete, not a hard model to rig as there are not that many rigging lines on the Nieuport .

That's a good idea with the cotton for sewing. I do it with weak wire and it's a lot of work. I have to try your method.

The home straight, ASK Lewis gun fitted, some mud on the tyres and oil on the engine cowling. Le Pieur rockets fitted to struts. Job completed.

Extras used on this build included, ASK printed Lewis gun, Gaspatch type C resin turnbuckles ( prefer the metal ones but nil stocks ) . HGW wood grain decals ( interior woodwork ) HGW seat belt. Various brass rod and silver steel tube. 2mm steel tube for engine air intake. Sewing cotton thread. .2mm copper wire.

All up it was a fun kit to build with not to many problems except the fuselage fit required a fair amount of filling.
