    It looks fantastic, Spiros.
The details you added to this build gave it a fantastic result.
I have to agree that due to your build, I also watched various 104 videos to bring back memories.

I hope my godson will like his Marineflieger operational Starfighter and commence many flights with it.
Thanks everyone who followed my ride, let alone consrtructive commenting and keeping company...it was so amazing to fly together with you guys!
    Happy modeling!

    Spiros, @fiveten
What an incredible journey this has been. I have enjoyed reading this build journal, and looking at the pictures you posted as much as your Godson will enjoy the gift of his brand new F-104. It looks too good to play with. But I would fly it with enthusiasm if I were him...

You did another fantastic job in a very short time. You are to be commended on your good will intentions too. Thanks for sharing this build with us.

I have two of the old "Hawk" kits left in the stash in 1/48 scale. One is the F-104 that I mentioned earlier. The other is a McDonnell Douglas F2H "Banshee". I will definitely be taking another look at them now... You never know, the Banshee might even make it over to our Korean War group build.

But first I need to finish up the mutual Ki-45's and He-219 builds. Lately I have not had too much time for building things.

    Thanks Louis @lgardner!
It will be so nice to see some old Hawk kits built by you!
You might not have too much time lately for building, but you have always time to spell some nice, constructive and encouraging words for us here.
    Thanks, my friend!

It has been a great journey. Your model will provide your godson with lots wonderful memories! It might even set him on a path to follow in your footsteps as a pilot and modeler! Awesome Starfighter that shines in all the right places.

For sure your godson will like this 104.
You created an amazing looking Marineflieger.
I think this 104 will get a lot of flyinghours with your godson.

Thanks my friends @johnb and @kalamazoo!
Due to COVID, I couldn't fetch it to my godson yesterday, but I send him an email with warm wishes and pics of it! He went mad about it! Now I must send it to him ASAP, meaning today!
