George, you have more patience than I do ... and likely, more talent too! I'm not much into scratchbuilding, though I have done a bit when it comes to replacing/repairing parts, as I'm sure most of us have. This is a totally new design for me, so add my name to the "Never Heard Of It" group of iModelers. Thanks! I always enjoy looking at "new" designs.
Thank you Jeff@mikegolf ! It was something out of the ordinary that caught my eye!

Looking great David! I can commiserate with you on all the work to match things up, as the Savage I'm working on is a Mach2 kit, and almost nothing matches or fits! I have NEVER had a larger pile of styrene shavings and dust on my bench (or probably in my lungs)! The things we do for projects we really want to have in our collection...!
A little progress...

David, it is looking great. All the RS kits I have built have all resisted completion, some to the point of flying into the circular file, but they have all looked good when done. Congrats on your perseverance. At some point they just become a quest...
Thank you George @gblair just some fiddly missiles to put together ! Thank you also Greg@gkittinger!
Paint! Decals and Missiles next!
Now this is really cool !
Fiddly Little Missiles x 4! Fortunately Tamiya extra thin works well with this plastic!
The carpet monster did its worst but missiles completed.
I did not realise that it had been this long - but here are some pics of progress so far!
Hi David @davem! Very thorough job; looks absolutely cool! "My kind of stuff..."
The decals really make this look cool, David (@davem). Glad to see your models again.
Great looking build, David. A lot of work resulting in a special model when reading back this thread.
