    Bad news my friends!

I got some kind of chemical reactions between decals and the clearcoat that turned the clear decal film milky. I should have waited for them to settle or even better, doing it the Mal-way: painting them!

I usually tell people that everything is fixable and that paint can be washed off and so on but I simply don’t feel the final result that can be achieved will be worth the effort.

Some final photos before things went bad big-time:

I am sorry to say that instead of ending up on the shelf of doom forever, this one has gone for recycling. Probably as energy…

    Regards

    Magnus

If you are really throwing this one away, Magnus, please throw it towards me, I’m sure I can do something to save it. All that good work surely can’t go to waste!

Sorry George, it’s a write-off (beyond economical repair…). Apart from that: I’m a bad thrower, I don’t think I would have been able to reach you 🙂 !

Kit is still available from High Planes in Australia. A new one is on its way in the post 🙂 !

    Regards

    Magnus
