Almost done, Spiros (@fiveten). Shouldn't need much more than a canopy.

    Thanks my friends @adrianstarling, @chinesegeorge, @pikofix and @gblair!

Almost done, hopefully tonight she'll cross the finish line...

Yep, @chinesegeorge, those early Pink Floyd w/Syd Barret works were amazing

    Almost there...

    • I attached the transparencies and faired the gaps with white glue.

    • I painted the port, starboard and top fin navigation lights with Humbrol clear paints

    • I also added the pitot.

    • The AOA sensors are small protrusions bilaterally at the radome aft section. They are not provided by the kit. Feeling that they are a prominent feature of the Falcon, I replicared them with small pieces of needle, painted gun metal.

    Anyway, here she is:

The tint effect is overdone, but probably passable...I think early Block 30s effect looked less subtle than Block 50s an onwards, but this might be subjective.

All the Falcon is missing is some touchups, mainly around the canopy and the pitot.

    Thanks for stopping by!

    Lost of words, Spiros @fiveten.
Even without the touchups she is already a beautiful queen.
Your friend will be very proud to have it on his shelf.

    Thanks my friends @johnb, @eb801, @adrianstarling, @lis and @airbum!

Well, did some touchups here and there and calle this Aegean Ghost beauty...

    Done!

A sincere THANKS to all of you who accompanied me to this really enjoyable modeling trip!

My friend will receive it in a couple of days: we'll meet, I will hand him the Falcon, he'll hand me a bicycle! Is this a fair trade or what? 🙂

Reading your comments, meaning that you spent some time stopping by at my works, was the best part of this built. Again a sincere thanks to all fo you, my friends!

Now, where is the BR-20 and the P-70?
