    @clipper, thanks a lot for the information, Carl. Will make some notes on the instructions so that I will not forget about it.
    @lis, thank you, Bernard.

    John @johnb glad you found a work around for the markings.

    That picture is turning into a goldmine. Accepted wisdom is after the 200th G the belly turret was deleted. I thought '102' was after the cut-off but it clearly has the remote belly turret. It also lacks de-icer boots.

    @kahu, thanks for the information, David. If I'm correct, building the belly turret as is provided by the kit, it would be the one as shown in the picture of '102'.
    @fiveten, thanks a lot, Spiros

    One side of the fuselage weathered.

    The PE IP panel from Eduard does look quite nice to me.

    Some dry brush on the instrumentation.

    3D printed seats from Special Hobby will be used instead of the original ones.

    Those seats will really make a big difference in the cockpit, John (@johnb). It always seems that if there is a weak point in a kit, it is usually in the seats. I don't know why manufacturers don't spend more effort on the seats since they make such a big difference. Dry brushing came out really well.

    @gblair, thanks a lot, George. Besides the nice details this kit has on the interior, the seats are indeed very basic.

    Excellent progress abd those seats are definitely looking better than the kit supplied ones, my friend @johnb!

    John @johnb, you are really making excellent progress.

    IIRC , the seat with the headrest was used on the J model and the half seat was found on H model.

    @kahu, thanks, David. So mine is incorrect in this case. I bought the seat upgrade set which was mentioned to be for D-late / G / H / J Mitchells. I will check if I can remove the backplate easily.

    G’day John (@johnb),

    I almost started one of these a few years ago, but other events intervened. So, I’ll be following along with your build.

    Yo have made a great start. I wasn’t aware of the seat issue, so I’m going to do a bit of research.

    As to RNAF B-25s, they operated B-25Ds against the Japanese in the Netherlands East Indies (NEI) and then from northern Australia.

    The squadron was integrated into the RAAF as No. 18 composite squadron and I think they retained the Dutch tricolour.

    The RAAF took on the remainder of the Dutch B-25 order to equip no. 2 Sqn (squadron code KO).
