    Windows look like they fit like a glove, John (@johnb). Do you have masks for them?

    @gblair, thank you, George. They do fit indeed perfectly. I do remember that did buy masks for them, so they should be around the bench somewhere.

    You are moving right along with this build. It is looking really good. Glad I could help in some small way.

    The Dutch trained at Hawkins Field in south Jackson if my research is right. Some Dutch who died while in training are buried at a Jackson cemetery. Though 99% here have no clue of how they contributed to winning the war in the Pacific.

    @kahu, thanks a lot, David. I'm not sure either if trained Dutch pilots finally made it to the battle field in the Pacific. I was not able to find anything on that part.

    Hello John.
    The windows look like they’re perfect. They are very clean and they fit very nicely.

    I’m happy to see that you have finished the cannon installation.

    Like you, I enjoy doing the research on the subject that I am working on and to me it is just as enjoyable as the actual building itself.

    There’s a lot of history behind this project and I think that it is very important to tell their story.

    Lest we forget.

    Working on the starboard side at this moment, also here a lot of details are added in the mold.

    Nice detail work, John. That gun must have been interesting to fire in midair.

    @fiveten, thank you, Spiros
    @j-healy, thanks a lot, John. Indeed, it must have shaken the aircraft entirely.

    The detail on the interior looks great, John (@johnb). Too bad most of it will be invisible.

    @gblair, thank you, George. It is always a pity to close up all the work done on the interior, still this is one of my favorite part of building.

    John (@johnb),
    I've been ghosting your blog. I think modelers can be divided into engineers, pilots and mechanics. Once you close up the fuselage and hide all that detail all is not lost. You have documented your progress and have educated yourself and your audience into knowing what is inside the black box. A worthy cause and an appreciation in my book.
