Thanks for sharing that link, Adrian.
What a simple but very effective approach to create a vacuum box.
That F1 is looking great as well.

Great John, it makes life so much easier vacuum forming and there is very much less mess! I hope you get a box going and see how effective it is.

Count me also in for willingness to get into vacforming, my friend @adrianstarling!
There have been cases that I desperately needed to vacform.
    Thanks for the link!

Today’s update - the rig is working and is now going to be in place for the rest of the build! I have also rebuilt the wings as I was not happy with the profile of the ABS versions and rebuilt them with balsa wood cores which gives the exact shape required and then covered them in 0.5mm ABS. I have also drilled the holes on the two main ribs that butt up to the fuselage. These will have brass rod inserted to line up with the correct dihedral and position before gluing in place. Final filling and sanding to be completed. The tail and elevator are the next steps - wings have put me back a day! I hope you enjoy and please let me know if I am going into too much detail and boring everybody!

John, I spend a lot of time making the moulds/cores to get the accurate shape which makes the build very much less challenging! Your kind words are appreciated, thank you.
