And now for something completely different: )

Started this today, should be an interesting build, it will be slow as it’s springs and lots to do here.

@chinesegeorge Thanks George, so far so good….have to do a mod on the steering as it’s jumping the rack and pinion : /

@garybrantley Thank you Gary, the date stamped on the pieces is 1968, but i dont think this kit is that old

Here is where I left off yesterday

Painted the inside flat black. The “ribs” were supposed to be gloss black and i tried to figure out a way to mask and paint them but I opted for hand painting them and it came out pretty good, one dog hair in the nose 🙁 that I didn't see until it was too late….ARGH but it will be hidden.

The steering worked great until I had everything together then it kept jumping the rack and pinion… :/ and everyone that knows me knows that would not do, so I shimmed it with a piece of black business card and worked great 🙂

Added the steering and master cylinders, pedals and shifter.
Engine is next, let’s see if I can pimp it out…LOL

Don’t know if was 906 or 910, but the west German pavilion at expo 67 in Montreal had one hung up ..was really taken with it..and some of my favourite drivers drove them…being over 75 that was “my time”
