NASM Visit

I recently went to the National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly Virginia, and saw a lot of historical aircraft; P-40, P-51, P-47, P-38, B-29, Ho229, Do335, F4U, SR-71, Concorde, Ar-234, Me163, Fritz X, F-14, F-35, MiG 15BiS, F-100, MiG 21, P-2[...]

Mitsubishi-A6M5-Zero – Tamiya 1/32

Vintage kit from Tamiya which was sleeping for about 15 years in my basement. After some days sick at home I have decided to restart building models. Wow what a great feeling to redo something with my hands. I used Tamiya lacquers, dry brushing[...]

My second TAMIYA 1/48 P-47D THUNDERBOLT BUBBLETOP

For your evaluation guys…. Best regards

TBF-1 Avenger 1:72

I bought this kit at a local arms fair. The box appeared very neat and new yet the kit was simply a rebox of an older academy kit. There was basically no detail for the interior(which is luckily hidden pretty well on the avenger). For what the k[...]

PANTHER

One of my "older" models. I hope you like it. It was the old Tamiya kit and it got some modifications. It was my first model with "heavy weathering" also.

Kawasaki Ki61/Hien (Tony)

My first attempt in metallic finishes, many lessons learned, many more yet to learn. Didn't use rondel decals, line decals etc... I've made them by masks I've previously made. Excellent fit and details. Every comment is welcomed :) Cheers :)

TAMIYA 1/48 REPUBLIC P-47D THUNDERBOLT RAZORBACK

For your evaluation guys.... Best regards

Matchbox, 1/72 – P-47D Thunderbolt

Rebuild from an old-beaten up Matchbox kit from the 80's. Unpainted it, and did it again, just to test some techniques. The last varnish coat produced a 'whitish' look :-/

Tamiya 1/48 – Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero

This plane represents one of the 2nd wave that stroke Pearl Harbour, from the Akagi. I scribed lots of panel lines and rivets so, at the end, did a heavy weathering to made those work pop. After a break of almost 30 years, I have lots of old box[...]
