Germany received 916 “G” (for Germany) all-weather ground attack Starfighters in total. They were 2,000 pounds heavier than the original F-104, [...]
Lockheed F-104A Starfighter
An earlier build (early 1990s) and only photographed fairly recently at the Cameron Airport, the Testors 1/48 F-104A Starfighter is a very basic, simple old model. Originally, it was a Hawk release from 1957. I love these birds and [...]

This build has started with this bottle of wine more than a year ago. It was a present, and then I've realized that I'm keeping in my hands a wine produced by Gordon Cooper – a pilot, test-pilot, astronaut. And since then, I've started [...]
Italeri 1/32 F104C Starfighter
This is my take on the Italeri F104C as it may have looked while operating out of Udorn, Thailand circa 1967.
I did add a resin cockpit and seat plus resin afterburner/exhaust . Kit decals were used and they were excellent.
