Getting back into the hobby after 40+ years.

Dusting off a few old kits/tools and looking forward to rebuilding a new stash as well as learning the latest and greatest in new techniques. Just completed the Monogram Bf109 1/48 and Fw 190 1/48 from the 1980s. Next on the To Do list is the Monogram Do 335...

My interest is in late WW2 German aircraft - prototype and operational aircraft from January 1944 - May 1945 in 1/48 scale. I am a WW2 history buff and research surrounding each aircraft type as well as the practical scale modeling of these aircraft. I have a lot of reference books to dust off and a lot to learn since the hobby has advanced significantly from the 1980s.
