I am a Canadian from Toronto, and have been building model kits since my mom's brother gave me some Tamiya 1/35 tank and figure kits many many years ago. Since then my stash encompasses tanks (1/35, 1/48 & 1/72), cars (1/24 & 1/20), planes (1/144, 1/72 & 1/48), warships (1/700 & 1/2000), Mobile Suit Gundam and Space Battleship Yamato (both Japanese anime). Now I mainly focus on planes, with my new-found interest in offerings from Airfix in both 1/72 and 1/48.

And I am still trying to complete something to make my first post here, but it will definitely be an Airfix 1/72 plane - (a) Spitfire F22 with F24 decal (VN318 stationed at Kai Tak airport in my home town Hong Kong back in the 1950s); or (b) BAe Hawk CT-155 with normal RCAF decals rather than the kit's BOB demo scheme; or Nakajima B5N2 Kate!
