I'm a translator from Belgium. All my life, I've translated other peoples ideas and opinions. That drove me to model making, as a means to express creativity and make something with my own hands. So I've built scale models all my life really, starting with the old Airfix kits, scenery kits for model railways, then WWII aircraft in 1/48 scale and wooden ship models. I'm still dabbling in all these activities, but now mainly 1/350 pre-dreadnought and dreadnought ship models and model railroading. Now, I've taken up airplane kits again, in 1/48 scale…(some have been in my stash for 30 years).
