I am a recently retired Power Systems Engineer who has spent 37 years monitoring the ScottishPower Transmission Network. My skills are in electronics, software, electrical measurement and IT. I live in a village called Strathaven in Central Scotland and we have a very good model shop in Glasgow 20 miles away.

I will build anything that takes my interest and current projects are:-

1/32 A-7e Corsair with resin upgrades
1/32 B-25 Mitchell
1/35 Accurate Armour (Resin Kit) Foden Drops and various loads.
1/48 Kinetic EA-6B almost complete.
1/35 Trumpeter Leopold Rail gun and figures.
1/350 Hasegawa Akagi and Eduard Photo etch (hard work).

All models are sprayed using Iwata Airbrushes and either acrylic or enamel paints. Photo etch is used in cockpits and I will upgrade a lot of kits with resin and photo-etch.

Future Projects are 1/35 HobbyBoss M1070, 1/72 Fine Molds Millenium Falcon,
Revell 1/32 Arado 196 and Tamiya 1/6 Honda motorcycle.

Stash is limited to about 30 kits but there are many large kits waiting to be built such as Trumpeter 1/16 King Tiger , 2 x Tamiya 1/12 F1 cars and various 1/48 and 1/32 aircraft.

Milestones to date are 1/35 Dora Rail Gun, Revel 1/72 U-boat with full CMK resin interiors, Trumpeter 1/16 T34/85 with all access hatches open and hinged to view, Trumpeter BR 52 with Photo-etch upgrade to go with Leopold rail gun above, Accurate Armour (Resin Kit) 1/35 Antar Tractor and Trailer.
