Hi All,

I'm not sure which forum this question goes, so apologies if anyone thinks it is inappropriate for the Jet Age.

I see many aircraft models on bases depicting airfields. These airfields seem to be constructed of concrete blocks. I have seen square, rectangular and also hexagonal russian types.

Does anyone know if there are "regulation" sizes, sizes and shapes by country etc. and if so, what size are they?

Also, just a cheeky one to add :-), if some of you great modelers out there do these bases any chance of a tutorial? - I think it would be fascinating to see some of these bases for models come together, we see many build progresses but not so much on how to display our stuff and and bit help would be much appreciated at least by me!
