So, this will be my next victim

It is an ancient kit which has spent ages somewhere in my stash. When I opend the box I remembered that I had ordered the addon stuff from Hannants to collect at Telford, but cannot remember when this was, I think 2011, but not sure. Anyway, it is about time to awaken the beauty.

And - you know me, it will take a long time

    Thanks for looking in

Good luck with this model, Martin (@impisi). I recall this kit being really lackluster, so I am looking forward to see what magic you can bring to it.

    Thanks a lot Gentlemen!

I managed to start the Crusader, not much, just sanding off al raised panel lines, building the connection to have the canopy in open position and glueing the small parts to the cockpit and ejector seat.

    to be continued

    Thanks for looking in

The new interior will really make a big improvement in the kit, Martin (@impisi). I forgot that this kit had raised panel lines.

I have a 1/72 Hasegawa Crusader tha I plan on building as part of a two airplane set which I won't mention right now since it is a future surprise project. But every time I see one of these 1/48 Crusaders, I want to pick one up. I have other 1/48 jets in my stash and on display and this would look good next to them.

Looking forward to seeing how this goes.

Thanks a lot Gentlemen! The Crusader did take some steps further,

Rescribing of the wings is done and almost one half of the fuselage, as I said, it will take time ...

The add on stuff is not made for an ESCI Crusader but for Monogram or Hase. In the pit this will work but for the landing gear bay it wil take some work, as it looks that the Hase Crusader is about 5 mm slimmer around the waist so I have to cut the add on into two halfs - will be exciting ...

    Thanks for looking in

Although it takes time, the result is definitely superb, Martin @impisi
    Almost there with rescribing.
The add on is a new challenge but I'm sure you will get that done as well.
