This is my latest completion, finished just over a week ago. As we all know, WNW kit's are a joy to build. The only problem I have is that they're so well engineered that the smallest bit of paint on a location point makes it difficult to assemble.

    Hi Mark,
Beautiful job of a butt-ugly plane! This is the only WNW kit i refuse to build, haha

What did you use for rigging and turnbuckles?

Hi Mike, really think she's ugly? I did too at first, but it kind of grew on me. For the turn buckles I simply used copper wire twisted around a piece of brass rod to get an eyelet, and the rigging itself is my favorite...invisable thread. Thanks for the comment...

Mark, super job, don't know how you guys that do the "multi" wing stuff think stright at the end of the day. everything I ever tried (years ago), was just another crooked wing flying sideways looking something or other. the builder is to be commended. thanks for sharing that build.cws

@marksullivan, this is one great looking model. A gentle reminder that if you want to participate in the contest, you’d need to post it at the Headlines tab… which I hope you choose to do!

The same advice applies to your Bf 109 presented in another thread.

Having done one of these myself, you have done some magnificent work here. They're not ugly - they're "brutal".

Lovely work. Aw geez, your making me feel guilty about the DH 9a sitting in my stash. I think I will try for a post-war silver a/c from the middle east or India.
