This was back in 1997. Matt Jackson is flying "Nervous Energy" from the back seat as he checks out its owner, who became the world's oldest new Mustang pilot on this flight - he was a WW2 vet who flew B-17s and always wanted to fly a P-51, so he got rich and bought one.

The three shots are in sequence as we turned north from a flight heading northwest along the Malibu coast, as the late afternoon sun caught the polished aluminum of the airplane.
