This is the “old” Dragon model of the Fokker Dr.1, I still think it is a nice model. From the beginning I thought the aircraft was red all over (The Red Baron is a red baron…) but I found out this aircraft was actually blue underneath. The Dr.1 is ideal if you, like me, don’t like rigging 🙂

It actually depends on which Red Baron Dr.I you are doing. The one he was shot down in was all red - a thin red paint over the standard "srtreaky" camo, which could still be seen through it. Cutting Edge did a great sheet on MvR's triplanes back in around 2003 or so.
