Monogram 1/48 B-29 WIP

    My Monogram 1/48 B-29 now has it's gloss light grey under coat on. Once it's cured I'll start the metal coats.

    I'm going to use Model Master Metalizer Buffable Aluminum and some Alclad. I like the fact that I can buff the Metalizer untill I'm satisfied and it gives the model that uneven finish.

    Hmmmm...MM metalizers AND Alclad -? Don't think I've ever heard of anyone using BOTH at the same time. But knowing your work, John, I'm sure it'll look outstanding. Can't wait to see the results.

    I don't know if you have done those two together, but they aren't "friendly" in my experience. I would stick to Alclad for a project like this. Just sayin'...
