    Hey Craig, that is the P-47 at the Museum of Flight in Seattle isn't it? When were you up to see that? Weather is a lot different to that of Florida. Just about as humid, just 50 degrees cooler.

    Hiya, Walt...my first (and only) visit to Seattle was August, 2010. We took an Alaskan cruise that was a round trip from Seattle, so I made it a point to stop at the Museum before flyin' back to FL. My only gripe was the lack of lighting upstairs where the Jug was. Downstairs was plenty well lighted as you can see.

    I think "Big Stud" was flown by the CO of the 325th FG, Col Baessler (?). I forget his first name...sorry.

    My model represents a P-47 flown by the CO of the 317th FS, Maj Herschell 'Herky' Green.
