...Tamiya kit, with an early interior by True Details. The drop tank is an error as this aircraft probably didn't have the capability to carry any drop tanks yet. It is what it is I guess. Anyway, the person I bought the print from also supplied the markings for me as both SuperScale sheets issues are now scarce and OOP. I used several books as reference, best being a Detail & Scale along with "P-47 at War". Cockpit is not zinc chromate but the dark green Republic applied. Exterior paint is Gunze Mr Color paints. Clear coat by Testors Hi Gloss spray, wings polished(crew chief liked his plane to go fast), Otherwise, basically SOB. This is a beautiful kit.
