You’re welcome, Tom. It is a nice kit. I can see myself doing another. Just an FYI, I found some mold release oils on some parts and washed them off with warm water and Windex.
Two coats of Humbrol 24 over the white primer. This will finish up quickly now.

That's some nice airbrushing, my friend @j-healy! Looking forward to your progress!
I like to use the Tamiya rattlecanprimer too - and with trusty ole' Humbrol it looks great!
Looking good John, gone yellow, will be ripe soon !
Yes, Allan! It is ripening but is taking a little longer then expected. I saw it needed a third thin coat of yellow and sprayed it this morning
Third coat looks even better!
Decal day! I just need to do some light weathering, paint the engine, and bring it all together now. Decals are a combo of kit roundels and fin flash with Xtradecal and Fantasy Print Shop codes.

Those decals really livened her up, my friend @j-healy! Looking amazing!
what a great looking decaled up kite! Better all the time - looking forward to the next few posts before it is finished.
I did the control lines with EZ line and painted some more small details this morning. Getting close to the finish line now.

Love those control lines, my friend @j-healy! Looking forward for this beauty crossing the finish line!
Most of the rigging is done now. EZline again. The plane should be finished at the next post.
This is some serious rigging and it is excellently done, my friend @j-healy! Looking forward to see it done!
Finished and posted in the main gallery.
