Nice solid progress, my friend @georgeswork!
A quick filling/sanding/repriming(?) loop and painting will be close!

You are correct Spiros (@fiveten): Fill -sand - Prime - repeat. Reminds me of washing my hair, WHEN I had more hair.

Spring clean up activities (which include Grass cutting, Pool Prep & chasing nesting birds from my gazebo) and the T-38 made me neglect this little guy.

Things were cleaned up and XF-21 Sky applied on the underside.

Getting some masking done in prep of applying XF24 Dark Grey.

Looking at the conversion Charts H123 or H333 converted to Tamiya requires a choice of XF-22 or XF-24 or XF-58 or XF-63 and I think XF24 is the winner.

I used XF-63 on the Seafire and it looked a bit dark.

Without any research by me, I think you are right about the XF24 George. The primed plane looked smooth and nice.

Finally got to focus back on this sea bird and get it completed.

Wing tips masked and painted - although I did spray the wrong 'blue' -and corrected.

    Missiles trimmed and painted up.

Cut decals used for the back of the inlets and then intake vanes added using some plastic scraps trimmed to size.

Gloss coat Future applied to prep for the decals - the walking warming were just off register and the white base was showing, so I trimmed up some red decals to cover up the white sections. the borders look a bit thick and bright but I'm happy with the result.

Pretty much finished up so the next post will be in the Headlines.

Thanks for following gents - wish I showed more progress but even during a 'lock-down' things can be pretty busy during the summer time.
