1/72 Dragon, started 2015 and again 2019, a few set backs along the way !

1. picked this up at a club meeting!!
1. tail-plane glued to booms.

2. not glued yet.
1. intakes glued to engine.
1. intakes glued to wings.
1. fuselage halves together.
1. some Plasto here and there.
1. T 11 nose weight !!
1. 1/32" brass tube.

2. 1/64" piano wire, wing joiners.
1. wings held straight while gluing tubes.
1. folded wings optional !!
1. gluing holes filled.
1. canopy masked and frames painted black.
1. under sides in MM 2049.

2. jet pipe masked.
1. masking on for top coat.
1. first top coat, Xtracolor X5.
1. X5 stripped off with oven cleaner.
1. canopy removed for cleaning.
1. black nose and leading edges.
1. X5 replaced with Humbrol 123.

2. tip tanks primed in flat white.
1. MM 33538.

2. cardboard to protect paint on wings !!
1. Tamiya X4.

2. yellow masked.
1. decaling in progress.
1. finished !!

2. nav' lights.
1. wire antennae.

2. fences on with Pledge.
1. silver foil landing light.
1. wire antennae.

Nice engine! Hard to believe it's only 1/72.
The boxart is the scheme I did at my 1/32 Sea Venom build, presented here in this GB!
