Thanks my friends @airbum and @dbutlr!

The MLG legs were on the simplistic side...

After viewing some net pics, I cleaned them up, then micro-drilled some bolts circumferentially of what is supposed to be the drum cover and added brake lines made of stretched sprue. Here they are... The bays received some aluminum color, too... I am seriously considering to scratch build the distinctive tank located in the middle of the bay...

    Thanks for stopping by!

Huge improvement of the landing gear, Spiros @fiveten
I vote for 'yes' to the scratch build tank.

No headlights were provided, so I added two leftover lookalikes from a Hasegawa 1/48 F-104...

The various "metallic" parts are in the process of painting...
For the bay tank (oil? hydraulic fluid? pneumatic? Hurry Experten please identify!), I joined the noses of two 1/48 Maverick missiles. Here it is in a raw condition... Thanks for stopping by!

Here is the "tank" installed, I filed it down to not protrude too much also, so there wiil be some believable space for the wheels to fit upon gear-up. I also added some ribbing, as I could not live with those ultra-simplistic bays...

Finally, there is a prominent lever looking mechanism that connects the retraction arm with the inner bay, not supplied by the kit at all. I am planning to somehow replicate this. Thanks for stopping by!

Looking very good, Spiros@fiveten. The wheel bays look appropriately busied-up. Interesting repurposing of the Mavericks - I guess you don't plan to outfit a 1/48 strike jet any time soon. Finding shapes in the spares box for scratchbuilt details is fun bricolage -something I often do myself. Skilled clean-up and paintwork on the kit undercarriage.

You created a superb tank, Spiros @fiveten
The landing gear bay looks much more realistic now.
Using 104 parts on a Hurricane... it does however look great.

Decals were applied, but some of them shattered at places, also a lot of air bubbles took place, being really difficult to tackle them, as any effort to eliminate them was quickly resulting in the decal area disintegration. Loks like the decals were indeed past their usage period...
So, I am in the process of retouching...
Here she is at the moment...

Yep, those decals performed in an irregular way, my fiend @johnb!
