Recently needed dead wood debris for a diorama. The scene is a riverbank with lots of dead wood and some grass under trees. The diorama scale is 1/72. I envisioned braking the kindling by hand and then attacking it with a hammer. Then someone mentioned using a blender. So I gave it a go. This experiment worked really well. Even had lots over for 1/72 scale garden mulch.

That's an awesome idea @tecko! Probably have to do this while the wife is away but it looks worth the risk.

Ha ha. Make sure you put the lid on when you blend, or you will have to vacuum not only the floor but everything else.

Peter, you sure you are not smoking some of this stuff?

    Brilliant thinking, well done.
