    Hi Guys,

I've been out of modeling for quite a few years now and am just finding my way back into the the fold. So please excuse if this is all old news to you.

I stumbled across a few sites this weekend that might be of interest to you. For those interested in Japanese aircraft, http://www.j-aircraft.com is a site that specializes suprisingly enough in Japanese aircraft. It has primers of the designation systems used by the Japanese Navy, Army and Manufacturers and Military unit designations. For us plastic junkies is has a section with lists of kits available as well as aftermarket and paints. Some of the kits have reviews. It hasn't been updated in a while, because it still has the defunct Aeromaster Warbird Acrylic line of paints listed. On the subject of that. White Ensign Paints out of the U.K. supposedly has the the formulas for all the old Aeromaster paints and has them albeit in enamel. They are available in the US from http://www.warshiphobbies.com in Corpus Christie, TX.
Also I discovered http://www.aviationofjapan.com, a research and blog site with some modeling pages. Again on the subject of colors and paints, http://www.impsstockholm.org/colorcharts/colorcharts.asp cross-references many of the readily available hobby paints and FS colorchips. seems to be a handy little reference tool for those interested. I hope these are some help to some of you guys out there
