I have absolutely NO idea what the problem was/is with that cockpit/fuselage assembly procedure. I've seen others that were built into stunning models. I've also heard horror stories about the same kit. I'm pretty sure it was something I did wrong MYSELF, but I don't recall having the same problem the first time around. Prior to this build, the last Academy F-4 landing gear assembly was givin' me fits...on this one, the gear seemed to assemble as advertised. Go figure. Seems like it's always SOMETHING.
