The Academy kit is over engineered, molded in multi colors (for me its most annoying feature) and has some non traditional build engineering. I am not sure if I posted these links earlier or not, but I thought I would post some build links I used when I built my Jolly Rodgers Phantom and will use again when I build my Sundowner. The first is when the kit was brand new, and is in my opinion the best for a basic build. The others add more levels of detail including lots of resin in the second link. Me I am relaxing with a 1/32 Tamiya Mustang before I frustrate myself with my Phantom. My nemesis was the landing gear doors they just about did me in! The third one has a way to install the landing gear after assembly, I had very good luck using his technique.
