    Hello mates!

We are including a Building group in our National Convention in Mexico, so I want to present my WIP of my Spitfire Mk.IXe that flew the British Ace Jonnie E. Johnson.
I have Eduard's Royal Class kit, I will build it out of the box ( I think it is enough that this kit has)

Well, I will post some photos as soon as I can.

    Thanks,

    Guillermo

A little bit delayed with this project, I am!
I just painted cockpit with Humbrol 78 and applied shadows with Humbrol 32 (Dark gray).
Seat color is Vallejo's Model Color (70818) plus Ronin (GP14 Wood) to simulate bakelite color, I used oil paint to apply some washes.

Now, I am building wings, meanwhile cockpit color is drying very well to apply washes with oil paint diluted with white spirits.

    Thanks,
    Guillermo

Welcome aboard, that's coming along nicely, you will certainly have plenty of work to do if you intend to finish for June 6th! - good luck.

    Neil,

Thanks, I will try to finish very soon, but I think I couldn't do it to D-Day date.

    See you soon.
